New Year ?! Well…
2011 left just like that, as if its 365 days disappeared in the blink of an eye. Not to let this feeling of emptiness overwhelm us, let us just play that vinyl “Ether” we released last April… Slowly, this speech on time reminds us new year or not, each and every moment is unique and shall be celebrated with equal enjoyment, without expectations.
The video cannot be shown at the moment. Please try again later.
“Ether” is a 2011 thing and still feels really fresh : we hope you will listen to the F4TMusic today, and in ten years, and in fifty years, and still be able to see how “pure” and relevant it is.
2011 was a bright year for us: CDs, vinyl and digital productions, hand made products, cutting edge music. Yes, it was a very busy year… and 2012 is equally exciting ! Don’t ask, news will come soon enough, but simply make sure to follow us on facebook and twitter, what’s where the hot news drop first ! Also make sure to subscribe to our newsletter (the field is in the down left corner of your screen).
That being said, have a great time in 2012… and don’t waste any moment ! The end of the world might be close ;)

Radiomentale
RadioMentale is an electronic music, sound artists & DJ duo founded by Jean-Yves Leloup & Eric Pajot. They started their career in 1992, with their own radio show, playing experimental music, concrete music, ambient & electronic. During ten years, they produced this weekly and cult radio show in Paris for Radio FG (first french and independent electronic music station), national Swiss station Couleur 3 and Tokyo Shibuya FM. During this period, they also played in the first techno and rave parties organized in Paris, mainly in chill-out spaces.
From the mid-90’s, they started to work in the field of contemporary art, composing sountracks and soundpieces for exhibitions, and collaborating with video artists, writers, designers or film directors.
Since then, their work, their installations and performances, have been presented in various venues such as Palais de Tokyo in Paris, Centre Georges Pompidou, Kassel’s Documenta, Luxembourg Mudam, Paris Cité de la musique, Cartier Foundation, and various clubs, music and cinema festivals over the world.
Since 2000, they are known as the pioneers of « cinemix », an audiovisual performing practise quite popular in France. As Djs and sound artists, they create new soundtracks for silent and classic experimental films (by Griffith, Murnau, Keaton, Vertov, and dada/surrealist artists), but also for modern talking movies, such Antonioni’s Blow Up, Gus Van Sant’s Gerry, Brian De Palma’s Dressed To Kill or David Cronenberg’s Videodrome.
A RadioMentale performance or sound piece, is usually a collage drawing on an eclectic range of audio sources, including sound experiments, movie soundtracks, ambient music, experimental & electronic music, natural sounds, fragment of interviews and human voice.

Afriqua
The entire musical life of Adam Longman Parker AKA Afriqua has been shaped by the same duality that today so strikingly defines it. Born in Virginia in 1992, he displayed an exceptional interest in music through his obsession with his parents collection of Michael Jackson records as a young child. Consequently, his parents saw it fit to start his musical education with piano lessons at the age of 5. At the age of 10 he purchased his first set of turntables. At this point, a long love affair with Hip-hop music and culture began.
Along with countless records purchased and hours spent mastering turntablism techniques, he slowly began producing his first tracks as well. When he moved to Michigan to study piano at the prestigious Interlochen Arts Academy at the age of 16, leaving behind his DJ set-up, his focus shifted to production. During this time, even without having yet discovered the electronic music that was to consume him a few years later, he was refining his production technique just as much as he was his piano playing.
It was not until he graduated and moved to London to continue his study at the Royal Academy of Music that he discovered the house and techno he’s dedicated to today. His interest in DJing was revived as well. Since then, his attention has been split equally between classical and electronic music with the overarching goal of creating amazing pieces regardless of the context. With such a broad musical perspective, a constant search for new sounds, and many years ahead of him, Afriqua is surely a producer to expect great things from.

Shinigami San
Born and living in Tunisia, Shinigami San [ Zied Meddeb Hamrouni ], is one of the pioneers of the electronic music scene in his country. He started as a guitarist in acoustic music playing rock, blues and reggae but it was his discovery of reggae dub music which lead him to Electronica, IDM, Drum & bass and finally to Dubstep. Discovering the power of bass and sub bass body-immersion was a revelation for him. Believing that dubstep is a vision of music more than a style, his music is an exploration in dub spatiality and atmosphere under dubstep heavy bass lines.

INFRA
INFRA is a Bass Music Producer, Sound Designer, DJ and Promoter living in Berlin.
His tunes consist of solid pumping Halfstep rhythms, brought to life by analog drums morphing into synthetic impulses and hypnotizing synth coloured atmospheres, that resonate in your head long after you hear them. With a background as a drummer for more than eight years, it is only natural that INFRA’s beats have a very high resolution in depth and therefore feature a lot of details and density to create thrilling sensations.
INFRA’s versatility in production provides both a lot of space for atmospheres and detail for mental explorations and relaxation, as well as severe and fearsome bass assaults filling the room with tension. His basses are more than just simple sine waves, but dreadfully tweaked and twisted pulses, built for maximum pressure, which form the foundation of his monstrous basslines. His style is mainly influenced by Techstep, Dubstep, Drumfunk and Neurofunk, which in his belief is the most advanced engineered music available.
Since 2008 INFRA has been in connection with F4TMusic, which in summer of 2011 will release the SONIC EP that encapsulates his style of Dubstep. The EP includes a track that is completely situated on the darker side within the deep Halfstep universe and features F4TMusic boss M3T4. Other collaborations include working with SPECIES, known for his shocking Darkstep tunes, with whom he has his first vinyl release on SHADOWDUB, shared together with world renowned Drum & Bass and Dubstep producer CURRENT VALUE, coming later this year.
For Canada’s superior Dubstep Blog J’AIME LE DUBSTEP, which launches a new mix every week, INFRA contributed Mix #61, which made it into the Top 20 Downloads of 2010, and Mix #101, which came right after after the mix of Dubstep ambassador JOE NICE. Both mixes feature his favoured style of Dubstep and received a downright positive feedback.
With Berlin based DUBMARINE and also as a part of the weekly rolling IMPULSE, he stages events in a Dubstep context, which are boundary pushing and style defining, due to their carefully chosen line-ups.
INFRA has played alongside: A Guy Called Gerald, Bulldogs, Clouds, Cyrus/Random Trio, Dead-O, Dean Rodell, EL-B, Ike Release, Karsten Pflum, Kid Kameleon, Kutz, Orson, Pole, Rob Sparx, RSD, Spectre & Sensational…
